🧁 1. Order Policy

  • Order Window: All orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance to ensure freshness and preparation.
  • Processing Time: Orders will be ready within 48 hours of confirmation and payment.
  • Custom & Event Orders:
    • Large event orders (weddings, birthdays, corporate, etc.) and highly customized cakes must be placed at least 7 days in advance.
    • A deposit may be required for event orders.
  • Website Orders Only: We accept orders exclusively through our official website, except for approved custom/event requests handled directly with our team.
  • Fresh Guarantee: Every product is handcrafted from scratch using high-quality ingredients. We never sell leftover or pre-frozen items.

🚚 2. Delivery Policy

  • Delivery Window: Deliveries are completed within 48 hours of order confirmation unless otherwise agreed.
  • Delivery Area: We currently deliver within select Central Texas zones (Belton, Temple, Salado, Killeen, Harker Heights, Nolanville, and extended Central TX).
  • Missed Delivery: If you are unavailable at the scheduled time, one reattempt will be made. After that, rebooking is required and may incur an additional fee.
  • Delivery Disclaimer: Once your order is delivered to the provided address and received by you (or someone on your behalf), Lavinca Sweets is no longer responsible for product condition, freshness, or storage. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or customer unavailability.

🛍️ 3. Pickup Policy

  • Pickup Location: Shared after order confirmation.
  • Pickup Window: Orders must be collected within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup time.
  • Missed Pickup: Items not collected within this window will no longer be guaranteed fresh. A late pickup fee will apply if you wish to reclaim your order later.
  • Pickup Disclaimer: Once an order is picked up, Lavinca Sweets is not responsible for any damage, mishandling, or spoilage during transport. Customers are responsible for proper storage (e.g., refrigeration for perishable items).

🥣 4. Ingredients & Allergen Disclaimer

Our desserts may contain:

  • Dairy (milk, cream, butter)
  • Eggs
  • Wheat (gluten)
  • Nuts (pistachios, almonds, walnuts)
  • Chocolate
  • Fresh fruits

⚠️ Allergen Responsibility: We are not liable for allergic reactions. Customers with specific dietary concerns must contact us before placing an order.


💳 5. Payments, Taxes & Refunds

  • Full Payment: Required at the time of ordering. No cash on delivery.
  • Sales Tax: All orders are subject to Texas sales tax (8.25%), applied at checkout.
  • Refunds:
    • Eligible only if there is a confirmed error on our part.
    • Orders canceled within 24 hours of placing (before production begins) are refundable.
  • No Refunds For:
    • Missed pickups
    • Incorrect delivery address provided
    • Change of mind or taste preferences

📸 6. Photos & Appearance

  • Website/social media images are for inspiration only.
  • Each item is handmade and unique. Small differences in color, decoration, or presentation may occur.

❌ 7. Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellation Window: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement (before production begins) for a full refund.
  • After 24 Hours: If cancellation is requested after production has started, no refund will be issued.
  • Rescheduling: Customers may request to change their delivery or pickup time with at least 24 hours’ notice. Approval is subject to availability.
  • Event & Custom Orders: Deposits for custom or large event orders are non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • Weather & Emergencies: Lavinca Sweets reserves the right to delay or reschedule deliveries in cases of severe weather, accidents, or other emergencies beyond our control. Customers will be notified and offered the earliest possible rescheduled time.

✅ 8. Agreement

By placing an order or submitting a custom/event request, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Lavinca Sweets reserves the right to amend these policies without prior notice.
